Domain name investor George Kirikos recently tweeted that the domain name Angie.com sold for 300K in 2014.

George frequently discovers high value domain name sales by looking through SEC filings. The recent SEC Filing by Angie’s List shows that the company paid a whopping $300,000 for a domain that is likely Angie.com. The domain name WHOIS data matches up with dates in the SEC filing and also shows that Angie’s List is the owner of the domain name.

Reports show that the last public sale of Angie.com was for $18,000 in 2007. Angie’s List does over $300 Million in revenue and further validates the importance of a premium .com domain name.

Other notable first name .com sales include Amber.com (180K) and Alice.com (250K).
